The Gardens

In 2004 when the house was purchased the garden had remained untouched for the best part of 15 years and only the first third was visible from the house. Totally cleared the garden was redesigned by Joanna Cowan (www.jcgardendesign.com) with the intention of allowing space for children, sunny tranquility for adults and to show the beauty of walled gardens.

The garden now has a substantial lawn surrounded by gravel paths, benches of stone reclaimed from the house and garden and a patio area with garden furniture and barbeque.
